Guidelines and Rules
Due to state statute, ALL alcoholic beverages consumed on the premises must be purchased at the Clubhouse bar.
Golfers, please sign in at the clubhouse prior to starting play and start on hole #1, unless instructed otherwise by the Clubhouse personnel. Thank you for not "cutting" in front of other golfers and following proper golf etiquette. This would include, among general golfing guidelines, fixing ball marks on the greens, repairing divots, allowing golfers to "play through" when the situation is warranted and not driving too close to the greens.
All play will be conducted in accordance with the rules of golf as published by USGA, except as modified by local rules.
All Golfers must start on Hole #1 unless instructed by the Clubhouse Manager to do otherwise.
Boundaries Defined - The playing limits of the course are within al fence lines bordering the playing course and wherever marked with white stakes, lines, flags or signs.
Water Hazards - A ball in play on #9 which lies or is lost on the bank or in the lagoon behind the green, or ball on left side of #1 and #6 fairways, and west of the line of pines behind #1 may be lifted and placed at any point outside the hazard, not nearer the hole, under penalty of one stroke.
Preferred Lies - A ball bying in the fairway of the hole being played may be lifted and cleaned without penalty, and placed within six inches of where it originally lay, not nearer the hole, and so as to preserve as nearly as possible the stance required to play from the original lie. After the ball has been so placed, it is in play.
Protection of Small Trees - If a player's swing or stance would be apt to touch such a tree or if the ball's lie is in the depression around such a tree, the ball must be lifted without penalty and dropped so as to avoid such a situation, within two club lengths of the nearer point of relief, but not nearer the hole.
Roads - A ball lying in the road on #6 or #7 may be lifted and placed within two club-lengths of the nearer point of relief, but not nearer the hole, without penalty.
The president, members of the board of directors, other officers, and/or persons designated by them, shall be authorized to maintain order on the entire course, including the clubhouse and any other facilities, and shall be empowered to order any person, not adhering to the rules and regulations or by-laws of the country club, from the course. (See Article 2, Section 2, of the by-laws.)
The by-laws are currently being updated and will be posted as soon as completed.
